I’m currently in the middle of a no meat challenge, and of course I’m craving wings :(. I’ve heard how versatile cauliflower is so why not give it a try ! From stews to rice it seems to do it all. I’m not expecting cauliflower to be better than the real thing but hopefully it will help. Cauliflower doesn’t really have a taste so I really tried to focus on the seasoning. Here’s what I used…
First blanch the cauliflower for 3 minutes. While the cauliflower cooks, you could take this time to sing the golden girls theme song, or prepare your dredging station. Either route is acceptable at this point lol.
Strain cauliflower, dip in egg then into seasoned flour mixture until fully battered. Repeat this process twice.
Fry until cauliflower is golden brown. Enjoy as is, or tossed in your favorite sauce. Let me know in the comments what’s your favorite meatless meal?
