Slow cooker turkey wings

If you’re looking for a comforting dinner that’s filled with lots of flavor then look no further! (well you have to look further cause you have to read the rest of the recipe. After that you can stop looking!) I’ve been looking for turkey wings for a while now because for some reason I had a taste for them. I make a mean turkey burger so why not perfect the wings also. I normally only eat turkey on thanksgiving or a handful of times through out the year. I’ve never really cooked the wings, but after the success of this recipe i’m definitely going to be making more! Here’s what I used…

14.5 oz can of chicken broth
ranch powder
1 small  pack of  Goya sazon
1 tbs Goya adobo
4 cloves minced garlic
russet potatoes
salt and pepper
smoked paprika
chicken bullion cube
Small onion (quartered)
5 Turkey wings
green beans

First scrub the russet potatoes and place them in the slow cooker. Pour in chicken broth, add garlic, onions and chicken bullion cube

Then place the turkey wings on top of potatoes and  season the wings according to taste. Cook on high for 4 hours.

During the last 10 minutes of cooking time prepare the green beans. Rinse and place green beans in a pan, add in a cup of the broth from the slow cooker, to add all that yummy flavor into your greens. Also add salt, pepper and minced garlic. Simmer green beans for 10 minutes.

After everything is fully cooked, smash the potatoes and plate this delicious and comforting meal!  It’s that easy! Let me know in the comments what your favorite comfort food is or your favorite comfort meal!
