Bad & Boujee Chicken Fried Rice

I love easy. Easy is my middle name. Easy recipes are my favorite, especially when I’m in a rush but still want to eat healthy.

Homemade chicken fried rice has become a nice go-to when I want an easy meal and would prefer to make something at home rather than spending money going out.

 

Ingredients:

  • Rice – I use Trader Joe’s frozen jasmine rice, it comes in a pack of 3 so it’s become a staple to just keep in the freezer.
  • Frozen veggies – I go for the bag that has peas and carrots but there are several Asian medleys out there
  • Chicken
  • Soy sauce
  • Egg – If you like

 

I typically sramble the egg and then set aside. Combine rice, frozen veggies and sautéed chicken.  Pour everything into a pan and add soy sauce to taste. I usually add a side like edamame or egg rolls.
